The Virtual Actuarial Conclave (VAC) is an annual flagship event hosted by the Institute of Actuaries of India. It is a platform which brings renowned global speakers and eminent dignitaries from across the globle together and provides unmatched learning and networking opportunities to the members of actuarial community. It is one of the most sought-after events amongst the students, who look forward to it every year to learn from the industry leaders and trendsetters and connect with the potential employers.
VAC encapsulates a series of large expert sessions that cover a wide variety of Actuarial topics at a macro level, while diving deep into the fundamentals and on-ground challenges with smaller groups. This lends a comprehensive angle to the event, making it relevant for one and all. With a new and emerging era of digitization, VAC is an effort to continue developing the profession and encouraging valuable discussions through its platform. I am delighted to announce that the 27th edition of this annual event - ALUCAST 2021 is being organized on the 9th – 10th – 11th of December 2021 in the Virtual Mode. The Theme for ALUCAST 2021 is CURRENT TRENDS IN DIE CASTING.
The Die Casting Industry has been going through challenging times since the last financial year because of the unprecedented disruptions caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic. The fluctuating prices of Aluminium, increasing manufacturing costs, shortage of skilled manpower and the resultant pressures on cash flows has become a major concern today. These challenges would appear more for the SMEs.
ALUCAST 2021 Virtual Conference will focus on the above referred challenges faced by the Die Casting Industry and deliberate on methods to tackle these issues and revive the Die Casting Industry post pandemic and pave the path towards sustainable growth.
